The team and I were asked to make it easier for frontline managers to stay on top of their tasks by connecting Rever with Microsoft Teams. Our goal was to reduce the need to switch between apps, make important updates easier to find, and create a simple, user-friendly experience that helps managers stay focused.

By analyzing user behavior and feedback, we identified features that were reliable, areas causing frustration, and opportunities to simplify workflows. This gave us a clear roadmap to refine the experience—keeping what worked, fixing what didn’t, and introducing solutions that made everyday tasks easier.

With our audit in hand, we dug deeper into how managers were actually using the platform. Through user feedback and behavior analysis, we uncovered the biggest roadblocks getting in their way—some expected, some surprising.

Balancing simplicity and functionality was key. We had to ensure notifications were helpful without being overwhelming and that new workflows actually made tasks easier, not more complicated.
Another big challenge was managing user permissions within Microsoft Teams. Working closely with engineers from the start ensured a smooth integration that didn’t compromise security or user access.
